I'm proud to announce the launching of our services integration project. Services integration permits you to use and manage nickserv and chanserv registered entities online. This includes manging your registered nicknames as well as editing channels. This project is ongoing and will take several weeks to finish, however we have opened it for the public starting today.
To use the services, you first must register an account on our website, then you can link this account to any nickname registered on our server or register a new nickname and have it linked at once. The linking links the entire nick group not just individual nicknames. Once linked, you have access to the preferences and channels owned by the nicks. You can register multiple nicknames and manage them all here.
Furthermore, the system provides a viable method for saving your preferences online. Using our customized Java webchat applet you can save your IRC preferences online and login from remove locations to chat. This means when you login to webchat through our site, you will come online with your nick, autojoin your favorite channels, and be able to get right into chatting without any of that bothersome setup. It's like having an IRC client anywhere you go!
